Camping Biscarrosse

Biscarrosse, from lakes, to ocean, and forest, a change of scenery is guaranteed…

Halfway between the Bordeaux Vineyards and the town of Mimizan, Biscarrosse has everything to offer for enjoyable family holidays! You’ll discover coastal scenery, with almost 15 kilometres of vast fine sandy beaches. The place is perfect for learning to surf, surf casting, cruising, sunbathing on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean or lying comfortably on your towel where you’ll be able to admire your children making sandcastles. Biscarrosse is also the starting point of a vast network of cycle lanes – superb routes to seduce you. These itineraries are called La Vélodyssée. These lanes around the Dune du Pilat and the lakes of Biscarrosse are ideal for admiring the beauty of the nature in the Landes by bike. For practising golf at any age, the Golf de Biscarrosse is ideally situated between the forest and the Atlantic Ocean.

Biscarrosse is also known as the capital of seaplane flying. Situated on the mythic location of the former base of Latécoère, the Musée de l’Hydraviation (Seaplane Museum), with the label “Musée de France”, welcomes you and tells the story of seaplanes.

Walks, bathing and cultural visits will all delight you!
